Tatiana Roulin is an award-winning, internationally renowned New England representational painter whose primary mediums include oil, acrylic and pastel. Roulin is a classically trained artist who expresses her style through the harmony of design, color and light. "For me art is a way of life and I create 24 hours a day, may be not holding a brush, but by seeing, thinking and feeling."
Experimenting throughout her career, she currently works in a more contemporary style using a vivid color palette, continuing to seek ways to capture the light and shadow and express color language.
Roulin’s paintings speak with their “brilliance of color, composition or the feeling of space that is more, much more, than just a picture.” She presents the ordinary in a new perspective, reminding that beauty is all around. Her paintings have been described as evoking feelings of “calm happiness”. She is a juried member of the Oil Painters of America and Pastel Society of America and many New England art associations. The recipient of many prestigious awards, she has exhibited is several solo and juried group shows in the U.S. and abroad; and been featured in several art-focused publications.
